Michael R. Moore has been an San Diego East County resident since 1960.  He has been practicing law in east San Diego County since he was admitted to the California Bar in 1990.

Mike was employed by the El Cajon Police Department for 30 years, working in a variety of assignments including homicide, sex crimes, and internal affairs.

He was a licensed attorney while working for the police department from 1990 until his retirement in December of 2007.  Since that time he has been an attorney in private practice concentrating in the areas of bankruptcy and family law.  He has also accepted cases involving criminal law, eviction law, labor law, and other civil matters.  He accepts domestic cases involving dissolutions, child custody, child support, spousal support, restraining orders, and enforcement of family law orders.

While employed by the police department, he was extensively involved in the prevention of domestic violence, including creation of county protocols and procedures.  He has had years of experience in the enforcement of domestic violence restraining orders.  He has also taught the prevention of sexual harassment to public employees for the last 24 years.
